Pastor Stanley Williams trusted Christ as Lord and followed the Lord in believer’s baptism on February 3, 1983, at the Bethlehem Baptist Church of Tacoma, WA, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Floyd Bullock.

He credits his spiritual journey while attending Howard University as an undergraduate as the most significant time in his early Christian pilgrimage. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree in Great Commission Studies from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He first came to Southside as an associate minister in November 2013 and was formally installed as Senior Pastor in June 2024.

Our pastor has an abiding visceral sense of calling to engage the next generation. For the course of over 40 years of vocational Christian ministry, he has served campus ministries, congregations, and denominations in Alaska, Texas, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. He has also served on international mission initiatives in several countries around the world.



He and his wife, Trina, have four adult children and a host of adopted children and grandchildren.
